Specifically developed to prepare students for higher education in the United States, this course provides English training for those who wish to advance their academic studies in an American college or university.
Completion of the advanced level in Q International School’s Fundamental English and Academic English programs fulfill the language entry requirements for our partner community colleges and universities.

Students take a placement test to find out their Listening & Speaking + Reading & Writing levels.
Students are placed into Split Levels according to their Conversation Skills & Comprehension Skills.
Students take Midterm / Final Exams & attend 1-on-1 sessions with teachers to review their progress.
The average class size is 8 students.
You will need a student Visa (F-1).
From Monday to Thursday, you will have classes in the morning until lunchtime, and then you will have your elective class and grammar class after lunch.
Both programs focus on integrated learning of the four skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
However, Academic English also includes two additional elective classes and four grammar classes per week.
Each class is 50 minutes long.
Yes, you get a 10-minute break in between each class.
Students can enroll up to 48 weeks depending on their visa status.
