The IT & Business AI Pathway Program helps international students start a career in Cybersecurity or Business AI.
Students first complete a preparation period to build the skills needed for IT study. After this, students move into one of two paths. Some students begin real ICOHS IT or Business AI classes, while others take IT-focused preparation classes to improve their readiness. Readiness will be assessed based on English level achieved after the ESL component has been completed.
Students learn practical technology skills and prepare for industry certificates such as CompTIA A+ and AI Essentials. After finishing, students may continue into advanced ICOHS programs or complete individual certificates.
All students begin with 8 weeks of Academic English to build strong English skills and prepare for IT and Business AI study. After 8 weeks, students take a level test.
Pathway A is for students with high-intermediate English or higher after Academic English.
Students choose which ICOHS track they want to follow:
Classes include ICOHS coursework, hands-on labs, and extra ESL support sessions.
Pathway B is for students below high-intermediate English after Academic English.
Students build technology and AI vocabulary, study real-world examples, and complete project-based activities. This pathway focuses on preparation and does not include direct ICOHS courses.
After 8 weeks, students take another English test.
